I arranged for Steve to plaster and re-decorate a small bedroom for my 87 year old mother. She was thrilled with him... his politeness, reliablility and punctuality, honesty, work ethic and the way in which he left everything clean and tidy. She felt able to leave him alone in the house because of his trustworthy attitude. In all respects Steve is a gentleman and my mother and I are happy to commend him to anyone needing someone with his skills. We would have no hesitation in using Steve again should the need arise. Steve did an amazing job: I am used to new homes built by Charles Church and Berkley Homes and his plastering work was far, far superior to that.
He spent extra time when he found old distemper paint and also leaking from the chimney staining the walls once we striped off the old wall paper.
Steve listened to me as a customer and spent time giving invaluable recommendations. He was very thoughtful, careful and professional and we have already asked him to quote for another 2 weeks of painting work asap.
If you are fussy then he has a huge number of dustcovers and his hover was constantly in use at the end of each day leaving us with a home we could live in and I am an asthmatic so it is important to me.
Finally the price: unbeatable good value.

Steve was very helpful in his initial visit, helping me work out what work I wanted done, and the best way to organise it (in a genuinely constructive, rather than a pushy way - I live on my own, so it's important to me that I don't feel bullied or patronised by people working in my house).
Steve was very flexible in terms of timing, to fit in with my rather odd working hours, and even stayed late one day to let in some delivery men who turned up an hour earlier than expected! He was also happy to go 'off-piste' at my request to do things other than pure decorating - e.g. plastering, fixing curtain rails and smoke alarms.
All the work he did was of good quality and he was very careful to keep things as clean and tidy and to make sure I was happy with the results.
I am very pleased to recommend him to others - a thoroughly nice chap, who will go the extra mile to get the result you want and will be honest with you about what he can and can't achieve.
